As a Jordan hybrid model, the Jordan Stadium 90 has harkened back to Mike’s mainline models plenty of times before. Now extending their reach, they’re delving into the wider Nike catalog, emerging clad in a classic “Panda” black and white.
Anyone with a cursory knowledge of sneakers in this decade will understand why it’s easy to assign that moniker. Any white-dominant, black accented pair will elicit that sort of reaction, and the Jordan Stadium 90 in this arrangement certainly doesn’t escape that. The only pieces of these sneakers not tinted by that platinum shade are the Swoosh, laces, heel tab, outsole and tongue tag, each of those finer details draped in midnight black.
Zooming back out to the model’s construction, the fingerprint of Air Jordan releases can still be felt here. The Jordan 5 of course informs much of the Stadium 90’s construction, but the Jordan 4 is a closer comparison point for this pair in particular, with the color scheme a dead ringer for the 2022 “Military Black” 4s.
The Jordan Stadium 90 “Panda” are expected to land as a part of Nike’s Spring ’24 slate. They will command a retail price of $140 when they do eventually make their debut.
In brick-and-mortar Jordan news, Philadelphia will be the site for the first US-based Jordan Brand “World of Flight” store.
