Even as supply of his sneakers begins to catch up to the demand for them, each successive pair of Travis Scott Jordans still makes waves across the sneaker world. 76ers and Commanders owner Michael Rubin added to that this weekend, spotted at the All Star Game in a brand-new “Black/Navy” pair of the Jordan Jumpman Jack.
With the debut colorway of Travis’ latest shoe releasing in very limited fashion on Grammy night, release rumors surrounding his first signature model are heating up. Presumably, a wider release of that first shoe will take precedence here, but there’s no doubt that plenty editions of the Houston rapper’s sneaker are on the docket for the rest of the year. Here, a more traditional colorway is showcased, especially contrasted to the earthy palletes that have donned Travis Scott shoes in the past.
It remains to be seen whether this is Rubin previewing an eventual wide release Jumpman Jack edition, or these were specifically made for the Fanatics exec. If one thing is certain, though, the Jumpman Jack is primed to be a pivotal model in JB brand strategy as 2024 starts to truly take shape.
In other Jordan news, the Air Jordan 4 RM remasters the 30-year old sneaker for a new addition to the holiday slate.
