The Nike Dunk Low “University Gold” Wears A Hemp Base

General release Nike Dunks might not turn heads like they used to in 2019/2020, the market now flooded with endless designs, but that hasn’t detracted from Nike’s ability to pump out an eyebrow-raiser every now and then.

From a distance, the Beaverton brand’s next Dunk Low delivery looks like more of the same: Monotone paneling over a white leather base. A closer look reveals the thoughtful consideration given to this pair’s material construction, treated to a hemp woven base akin to that of iconic Nike SB iterations of the same silhouette. The rest of the upper wears “university gold” leather, spanning the toe, eyelets, Swoosh, and rear Nike logo, while a dark tan outsole helps bridge the design underfoot.
