Continually reprising their classic models with new features, Nike tapped the AM90 for that treatment just a few weeks back, debuting the Nike Air Max 90 LV8. With an exaggerated platform midsole and two air units, the refreshed offering adds a women’s exclusive to the ever-growing Air Max line. Relying on that storied history, the upcoming “Laser Blue” variation dons the 90 LV8 in classic style.

Still in its infancy, the shoe has only arrived in a handful of colorations. First came the Valentine’s Day Air Max 90 LV8, a novel yet not entirely unfamiliar palette for the silhouette. For long-time heads, the real headline will be the “Infrared,” a note for note recreation of the iconic men’s release. The logical next step is to continue hashing out 1990s releases on this new canvas, and this “Laser Blue” type pair does exactly that. In contrast to that red counterpart, the pair in question here is not an exact recreation, with the detailing shade of blue closer to teal than on their 30 year old predecessors.

As all the Air Max 90 LV8s have, the “Laser Blues” will retail for $150. A release date has not been announced, but you can expect to come across these in the next few weeks.
