The END. x adidas ZX 8000 Depicts A Dystopian Future

The END. x adidas ZX 8000 Depicts A Dystopian Future

Nearly one year removed from the conclusion of the inaugural adidas Consortium Cup, the tournament’s various designs continue to get picked for wider releases. Newcastle retailer END. Clothing gets the call for this latest Three-Stripes installment, delivering a ZX 8000 that completes the theme of past, present, and future executed across the Cup’s first three rounds.

The upcoming ZX 8000 “Future” is inspired by the dystopian depictions of society seen in science-fiction cinema, conjuring memories of Dune, Mad Max, and other movies with wasteland settings. As such, the shoes wear an overdyed brown/orange hue from top to bottom along with heavy distressed detailing on the silhouette’s various TPU features. A ripstop base adds durability while fitting the overarching theme, while saddle brown leather covers the toe, stripes, and mudguard. Underfoot, subtle red accents break from the otherwise monotone palette, complemented by co-branded detailing on the tongue, heel, and quarter.

The END. x adidas ZX 8000 “Future” is set to launch on the END. website on Friday, February 16th. In the meantime, enjoy a close-up look below.
