Nike’s Throwback Varsity Thematic Arrives On The Zoom GT Cut 3

The third iteration of the Greater Than Series’ Cut vertical launched earlier in 2024, continuing a much-praised series of pure performance of basketball shoes that began in 2021. Bringing ZoomX foam cushion to the hardword for the first time, the Cut 3 once again brings cutting edge technology to a sport with ever-evolving players who dart around the court like never before.

With several in-line styles already revealed, Nike adds another to that batch via this black, spruce green, and orange colorway. Accompanying the Miami Hurricanes-style colorway is some varsity jacket style lettering and logos on the heel and insoles, anchoring past and present via the ’72 origin year call-out.

If you’re looking to lace this new Zoom GT Cut 3 for your next open run, expect a release on nike.com and Nike Basketball retailers later this Spring for $190.
