The first Wales Bonner adidas Samba 2024 release is here…and gone. The English fashion designer’s much-celebrated series of co-branded footwear has grown to be one of the most (if not the most) sought after pairs in the realm of footwear collaborations with fashion labels, and today their saga continues with their most limited issue yet.
Taking cues from her FW23 collection and the stud motif, the adidas Samba “Studded” Pack is highlighted by the smooth metallic rivets that are pressed onto the upper stripes of the shoes. Her signature stitching style is evident where the heel tab is fixed to the upper as well as the tongue flap, where the adidas and Wales Bonner text logos are bonded.
Just 750 pairs of each colorway were made, with this distinct number scribed onto the shoebox as well as underneath the tongue flaps via a 1/750 marker. However, they are not individually serialized.
Both pairs of the Wales Bonner adidas Samba “Studded” Pack dropped on February 9th ($280 a pair) on the Confirmed App and have been spoken for. No other release date has been confirmed, but considering this morning’s drop seemed to be of the “Quickstrike” fashion, another release could be in the works.
