A Bathing Ape Adds Oversized Shooting Star Logos To The BAPE STA

A Bathing Ape’s BAPE STA silhouette has undergone some significant changes in the near quarter-century of existence. Largely inspired by the Air Force 1, the iconic sneaker was subject to some modifications for legal purposes; still, it holds every bit of esteem it earned since the days of Nigo at the helm. Now, the BAPE STA is offered up in a new updated take that emphasizes the shooting star logo like never before.

A Bathing Ape Bape Sta Os Release Date 5

The upcoming BAPE STA OS (which presumably denotes Oversized) is highlighted by an oversized logo that sees the star head dip downwards into the midsole like never before. Below the synthetic PU logo overlay, the BAPE OS keeps to a classic two-toned leather offering for its introductory launch while adding the even-more-iconic gorilla head at the heel, pressed into the leather in white. It also appears as a lace dubrae in a metallic silver form.

BAPE confirms that the shoes will release online on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 for $300 per pair; see the official images of the black, red, and green below.
