The Nike Dunk Low Remastered Wears “Ultraman” Coloring

A classic colorway meets modern-day design themes.

The Nike Dunk Low Remastered Wears “Ultraman” Coloring

Nike Dunk releases fall into a large number of subcategories, two of them being re-issued CO.JP designs and another — and more commonplace — being modified iterations. In the Beaverton brand’s latest delivery, Nike marries these two design themes to produce a Dunk Low Remastered in a “Reverse Ultraman” color scheme.

The Ultraman Dunks, which will be re-released in OG form later this year, are widely beloved for their Japan-exclusive roots and eye-catching color scheme. On the upcoming Dunk Remastered, these callbacks appear through the gray overlays and red Swoosh and laces, closely matching the palette used on the Ultramans.

Aside from the Remastered tooling, the other notable departures from the OG pair present themselves on the base, in white mesh as opposed to red, and with a gum sole below. Don’t be surprised if Nike revisits this fusion of classic colorways and modern design schemes in future Dunk drops to come.
