Kobe Bryant SBs? The Black Mamba & Nike Skateboarding Could Be Dropping A Collaboration In 2024

But this won't be the first time Kobe dropped an SB shoe.

Kobe Bryant SBs? The Black Mamba & Nike Skateboarding Could Be Dropping A Collaboration In 2024

Kobe Bryant’s love for sport didn’t stop at basketball. He was an avid fan of skateboarding, appearing alongside Paul Rodriguez in an epic ad the LA-bred skater’s signature shoe and even collaboration with skate legend Eric Koston in an actual shoe collaboration. Based on some leaked information from notable sneaker sources, that connection between the Black Mamba and the SB category could continue in 2024.

According to this tweet by @masterchefian, Nike SB and Kobe could be dropping some product this year. Could it be a re-release of the Nike Kobe Koston One from 2011, or could we see a skate-able version of a Kobe Protro sneaker? That transformation worked wonders for the Air Jordan 4, a shoe that many called the best drop of 2023. The Kobe Protro series has no issues regarding fit and performance, but Nike SB could contribute some skate-shoe sensibility to the model such as a drop-in sole, durable uppers for doing tricks, and possibly a padded tongue. A Kobe Bryant SB Dunk could also be a potential outcome of this news.

There isn’t much else to share, but it’ll be fun to ponder what this Kobe SB shoe could look like.

In other Kobe news, the Kobe 8 Protro “Radiant Emerald” is set to drop in February.
