The New Balance WRPD Runner Gets A “Magnet” Makeover

Earthy tones drape New Balance's newest lifestyle model.

New Balance’s “Magnet” colorway has long been a fan favorite among diehard fans of the Boston brand, appearing notably on popular 990v4 and 2002R colorways. Now it appears that the WRPD Runner is next in line for the Magnet treatment as the model looks to build off the buzz generated since its late 2023 debut.

The Magnet coloring on this pair is specific to the dark gray suede overlays that envelop the entirety of the shoe, sitting atop a black mesh base adorned with New Balance “N” branding. Underfoot, the shoe mixes things up with a taupe colored midsole to match the laces and lining up top, a departure from the traditional black/gray scheme seen on most Magnet colorways.
