The Air Jordan 1 Mid is often used as an experimental canvas for Jordan Brand designs. In Nike’s latest delivery, the silhouette wears futuristic crinkled silver overlays that mimic the look and feel of tin foil.

While we’re accustomed to seeing chromatic material on many Beaverton brand inventions, this marks a rare occurrence where it appears with this particular treatment. The silver material does all the heavy lifting on this pair, draping the toe, eyelets, swoosh, and back paneling. The rest of the upper keeps things familiar with an all white leather base, sitting atop a blue gum outsole to complete the design.
