Andrew Rizzo Nike looks to have adopted a new design theme for the Air Force 1. Just days after a new Air Force 1 surfaced with blue ostrich skin leather, the Beaverton brand graces us with a black colorway featuring the same materials and construction.
This shoe is defined by its semi-glossy textured leather overlays, which drape the bulk of the upper from heel to toe. A nubuck base serves to keep the design tame, while a leather tongue label and debossed “Nike Air” branding on the heel add a touch of luxury. Underneath, Nike opts for a traditional white midsole and gum outsole, a recurring theme we’ve seen across multiple Air Force 1 collections as of late.
