Brain Dead And adidas Collaborate On Bowling Shoes As New Partnership Begins

Paris Fashion Week always brings out the most audacious side of designers and fashion-lovers alike, and this year’s event is no different. Having already collaborated with a wide variety of actors in the sneaker space, Brain Dead now joins forces with adidas for the first time in celebration of their 10th anniversary.

The product? A friends and family bowling shoe. This isn’t a completely new department for the Three Stripes Brand as they’ve released bowling footwear back in the 1960s and 1970s, but more recently as part of a collaborative collection with Jeremy Scott. Additionally, Wales Bonner referenced a variation of these bowling shoes as part of their debut runway in 2019.

Brain Dead founder Kyle Ng offers up a closer look on Instagram above. First images reveal two friends and family pairs in classic adidas coloring, one white and one black with inversely colored tongues. The Brain Dead branding on the lateral panel, insole, laces, and removable rubber tag are what make the shoe special. While you’ll need to know a guy to get your hands on a pair, we can relish in the possibility of publicly available adidas x Brain Dead collaborations to come now that the duo has joined forces.

In other news, the adidas Samba just got dressed in upgraded leather.
