Kiko Kostadinov’s ASICS GEL-Quantum Novalis Mule Is Ready To Take On Paris Fashion Week

Kiko Kostadinov’s masterful blend of runway and technical wear has resulted in a catalog of footwear designs that are truly unmatched. Taking the sneaker world by storm with his initial GEL Burz 1 trio, the Bulgarian designer was shrewdly employed by ASICS to run their premier Sportstyle line; it’s this strategy that’s being mimicked by other brands, although few can really stand up to Kiko’s ability.

Out of his highly anticipated 2024 releases, which include the GEL-Novalis and his project with Heaven by Marc Jacobs, this lace-less Mule slip-on has been getting the most attention among the designer’s core following. With an oversized ASICS strike logo at the forefoot a la the Quantum Levitrack of 2021, this upcoming Mule has been revealed in two colorways thus far and should see some additional sightings during this month’s Paris Fashion Week.

In Kiko’s usual fashion, this Mule features a textured armor on the exterior and a contrasting tight cotton knit on the interior. As mentioned before, two colorways have been revealed thus far, with more possibly on the way considering his ASICS projects tend to happen in threes.

In other ASICS news, the Naruto ASICS GEL-NYC is set to drop in the US in the coming months, as confirmed by one of the project’s creative contributors.
