Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Light Orewood” Keeps Pace With Retro Tech Runner Trend

There’s been no shortage of Nike Zoom Vomero 5 colorways during 2023, which saw strong sales of the ever-popular 2000s runner for most of the year.

Retro tech runners are a big trend right now, and Nike is looking to strike while the iron is hot by introducing the lower-priced Pegasus 2K5 en masse. And with competing CEOs issuing warning shots, the Beaverton brand isn’t going to pull any punches.

The approach also means more color combinations for its popular models. Those who can’t get enough of this particular silhouette will be happy to know that a new Light Orewood colorway is set to release in the near future. This color combo is a bit more subtle and sophisticated compared to recent unveilings, offering more complexity than the monochromatic Saturn Gold variant yet remaining even more subdued than the “Valentine’s Day” Vomero 5.

Like other Vomero 5s, we expect this women’s exclusive model to carry a price tag of $160 when it drops in early 2024.

In other news, the diamond-studded Air Jordan 4 “First Class” WNBA PE is taking the internet by storm.
