Sneaker News The Holiday 2024 season is shaping up to be quite a dandy one for Air Jordan 11 fans. In addition to the first-ever Retro of the Columbia Jordan 11s, we’re now learning of a new “Bred Velvet” to continue Jordan Brand’s women’s exclusive series of winter drops.
Revealed by @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files via a mock-up pictured above, the Air Jordan 11 “Bred Velvet” captures the original black/red colorway, but reimagined with a full velvet upper in place of the iconic patent leather and ballistic nylon. Furthermore, the outsole appears to be a solid rubber opposed to the conventional translucent bottoms.
This is, of course, hardly the first time the plush material was used on the XI; in 2016, the Air Jordan 11 “Heiress” dressed the model in a sultry wine red hue with golden accents, as did 2022’s Air Jordan 11 “Midnight Navy”.
As of now, this release is expected to drop during the final quarter of 2024, although a November release seems likely given how Jordan Brand has preceded the keynote Jordan 11 release with the one made just for the ladies.
