LaMelo Ball’s signature brand with PUMA expanded in more ways than one in 2023, returning his highly successful first signature silhouette in a range of colorways alongside the debut of the PUMA MB.03. Premiering in a Dexter’s Laboratory collaboration today, LaMelo’s third signature model will beget one last celebration before the new year in honor of the “Year of the Dragon”.
Despite a lack of obvious imagery, the mid-top model extends a connection to the East through a consistent amount of regal gold shading that accents the sole unit, TPU mudguard, quarter and laces. A much fainter shade of tan then consumes the upper textile and the warped heel counter before attributing the inner lining, tongue and pull tabs. Moreover, the upper claw marks reveal a peach-orange contrast that ensues along the tongue’s various branded embellishments.
LaMelo’s PUMA MB.03 “Chinese New Year” will be released on January 12th for a retail price of $120 in adult and grade school sizing. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead.
