Available Now: Nike Air Max 90 “Midnight Navy”

Despite several offshoot designs and contemporary updates, the Nike Air Max 90 maintains its base function as one of the Beaverton brand’s most readily available Max Air cushioned silhouettes. Next year, the Tinker Hatfield design has plans to mirror Jordan Brand’s recent obsession with “Midnight Navy”.

Dipped in equal parts navy and black, the pitch-dark upper pairs a thick textile base layer with buttery soft nubuck overlays for a richly textured composition. Jet-black shades envelop the base layer, quarter tongue tabs and the mid-foot overlay while crisp white contrasts match the greyscale palette with colorless laces, profile swooshes and midsoles. Elsewhere, the low-top trim exercises a familiar shade of “Midnight Navy” to anchor the tongue, heel tab, mudguard panel and the ridged surroundings of the Air cassette underfoot – complemented by a clad-gum finish across the outsole.

Enjoy an official look at the Nike Air Max 90 “Midnight Navy/Gum” below as we await further release details.
