As the year winds down, popular silhouettes like the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 have begun giving sneak peeks at some of their plans for 2024.
Recently, the popular retro running model from 2011 has emerged in a peculiar color-blocking. Likely set to drop throughout next spring, the newly-surfaced pair features muted black and grey tones alongside vibrant blue and orange flair. The bulk of the sneaker, however, takes on a color scheme more suitable for the gloomier months of the year. Yet, branding hits throughout the upper keep things fresh and bold, with a punchy blue landing on the mid-foot’s plastic panels. Pull tabs on the top of the tongue and spine deliver improved functionality while also helping Nike’s Vomero 5 standout more given their reflective detailing. Underfoot, the Cushlon and Duralon setup complements the upper’s mixed color scheme well. Together, each aforementioned component helps keep the 12-year-old design fresh.
No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand as of this writing, but that’s set to change in early 2024. In the meantime, enjoy official official photos of the pair ahead. The Zoom Vomero 5 is priced at $160 USD.
