“Flat Pewter” Takes Over The Nike P-6000

“Flat Pewter” Takes Over The Nike P-6000

Nike’s retro P-6000 silhouette continues to emerge in new styles.

Born towards the end of the 2010s, the hybrid design draws inspiration from a number of Nike Running classics from the early aughts. The result is a sneaker informed by heritage, but prepared for the future. Throughout its lifecycle, the model has taken on handfuls of looks familiar of performance-running silhouettes from the 2000s. More recently, however, the P-6000 has fully embraced its position as a lifestyle offering, appearing with more experimental colors and materials more appropriate of casual wear. The latest example of this arrives in the form of a pair clad in “Flat Pewter” and “Light Iron Ore.” Flashes of “Metallic Silver” and an unnamed blue inject a touch of personality to the design, however.

Underfoot, the Nike Pegasus-informed model keeps things simple. Reliable, but non-marquee materials make up the sole unit, differing from styles like the Vomero 5. Nevertheless, the understated retro provides a trusty ride for anyone looking to participate in the “Y2K” trend without breaking the bank.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for a stateside nike.com launch. The P-6000 is priced at $120 USD.
