The “Just Do It” Collection Grows With This Nike Air Max 97

Nike’s “Just Do It” collection changes shape and form every year. Diverting from last year’s take on regal gold hang tags and burgundy accents, the late 2023 installment removes its early use of enamel cursive dubraes and now explores the Nike Air Max 97 with details straight from the mind of an eight-year-old.

Exclusive to grade school sizing, the Christian Tresser design opts for a playful palette with vibrant “Photo Blue” hues filling the textile upper, quarter and tongue construction. Color-matched embellishments also appear along the inner lining and laces, picking up on recess-ready colorway. Elsewhere, the full-length leather mudguard is cured in a clad-black tint while a pair of googly eyes and hand-drawn Nike logos animate the forefoot in red detailing. Complemented by a fully recycled grind rubber tread underfoot, a duo of faint grey and “Bright Crimson” animate the upper’s TPU and the heel’s vertical spine.

The grade school-exclusive Nike Air Max 97 “Just Do It” is expected to release within the coming weeks. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the “Kobe Reverse Grinch” arrives on December 15th.
