Two More Unreleased Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Colorways Surface

Built to push the boundaries of racing silhouettes and their partnership with the Beaverton brand, the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle saw the Japan label fuse the technological advancements of the Nike VaporFly with the classic heritage of the original Pegasus from 1983. Birthing a pristine “White/Gum” composition in late 2021, the bodacious silhouette has since returned in a duo of brand-new colorways.

Mirroring the monotone palette of its past inline efforts, the lofted low-top trim is cast in either tonal navy or bright white hues with “Off-White” bulbous overlays bringing a playful detailing to the quarter. The banner’s synonymous layered aesthetic is represented by a second enlarged spray-painted profile swoosh, a duo of tongue tabs and the cobranded Nike x sacai insignia that claims the heel tab. Elsewhere, the Pegasus-inspired outsole is cast in either gum or black while matching with the model’s various metallic silver and malachite green accents, respectively.

A release date hasn’t been confirmed as of yet. In the meantime, both of the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle colorways can be seen ahead in first-look imagery.

For more from the Beaverton-based brand, the Jordan 11 “Gratitude” releases tomorrow, December 9th.
