2024 may still be a few weeks away, yet we already have a solid outlook on Jordan Brand’s upcoming retro offerings for next fall.
According to Sole Retriever and @zSneakerHeadz, a total of nine separate models are expected to be released throughout the fall season from the Beaverton brand, including the first retro release of the divisive Air Jordan 17 since its inaugural debut in 2002. OG styles are plentiful from a monochrome take on the staple “Thunder” Air Jordan 4 and a “Cement Grey” Air Jordan 3 to the Air Jordan 1 Low’s “Metallic Blue” ensemble. Inline compositions fill out the surrounding releases with “Oxidized Green”, “Black/Gold” and a “White/Black” AJ5. Meanwhile, the heralded “Mocha” series prepares its first low-top treatment.
In conjunction with the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Jordan Brand is planning on headlining its celebration of the USA with a retro take on the Air Jordan 6 “Olympic” followed by a color-matched Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 6 Craft SE. “Midnight Navy” is also relied upon heavily with its representation in the Air Jordan 11 Low, the Air Jordan 13 and a duo of men’s and women’s Air Jordan 1’s. In other sizes, the brand is providing its grade school audience with the first Air Jordan 1 Low OG tooled for youth sizing.
In the realm of collaborations, A Ma Maniére is currently slated to unveil a second take on the Air Jordan 3 and the coveted Air Jordan 4, continuing their persistent appearances alongside the Jumpman.
After providing the Air Jordan 2 with a vast amount of compositions since Holiday 2022, MJ’s second signature silhouette remains absent from the brand’s fall schedule in congruence with an uptick in colorways for the Air Jordan 17. Aside from the “Neutral Grey” and “Metallic Blue” Air Jordan 1 Low 85s that have previously been seen in past seasons, the aforementioned Air Jordan 17 Low “University Blue” will serve as the only brand-new retro effort from the brand in the third quarter of the year.
