More ASICS GT-2160’s Land On December 8th

Since its introduction at the hands of Montreal’s Dime Skateboards, the ASICS GT-2160 has quickly formulated a compelling range of compositions in less than six months. Drawing several bespoke design references from the early 2010s, the Japanese brand’s latest lifestyle solution echos a trio of compositions plucked directly from the past decade.

In keeping with the trainer’s heritage-infused design language, a wavy sculpting assumes the forefoot with each colorway remaining anchored in a strict leather and mesh construction. Creating a clad monochrome upper with either “Seal Grey” or a faint off-white hue, the more minimalist color blockings enjoy an aged cream midsole with “Jewel Green” and black concentrating along the heel counter and insoles. In stark contrast, the third installment follows a 2011-reminiscent palette with “Pure Silver” overlays – accented in a bright Sky Blue– opposing rich jet-black underlays.

The trio of GT-2160 colorways is currently slated to release on December 8th for a retail price of $120 USD. In the meantime, each pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

For more upcoming offerings, the Jordan 11 “Gratitude” arrives on December 9th.
