Nike’s “Year Of The Dragon” Collection Includes This Full Force Low

Nike has been taking several trips to the archives over the past few seasons, returning with slightly revised iterations of the Beaverton brand’s mainstay heritage imprints. From the Nike Gamma Force – a slimmed take on the Court Force – to the Full Force – a takedown of the Air Force III – on-court silhouettes from the 1980s have returned in both inline efforts and now, within broader collections.

Joining an expansive roster of footwear headlined by the KD 4 and Air Jordan 1 Low, the 2024 “Year of the Dragon” pack from Nike will include the Full Force Low in early 2024. Mirroring the neutral backgrounds that have infused the upcoming collection’s broader installments, a vibrant “Sail” hue animates nearly every panel throughout the heavily layered leather upper – save the stale white heel overlay.

Opposing the continuation of the clad-colored treatment underfoot, a seldom appearance of grey fills the textile heel tab continuing the minimalist aesthetic. What’s more, the Lunar New Year’s synonymous red and jade palette accents the low-top trim within the profile swooshes, heel logo and inner lining as subtle references to the occasion appear along the medial tongue and insoles.

Release details haven’t been shared just yet. In the meantime, the Nike Full Force Low “Year of the Dragon” can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
