When Life Gives You Lemons, Make This Nike Air Max Plus

Finished with an acid-wash textile.

When Life Gives You Lemons, Make This Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus is most commonly associated with a vibrant gradient cast across its textile upper. While the latter detailing has ascertained a fair amount of OG compositions in just the past few months, the circa 1998 silhouette is embarking upon a new aesthetic infused with an acid-wash finish.

Dispersed between a vibrant highlighter yellow and a fainter shade, the two colors cascade against one another from the vamp and tongue to the heel. Amplified through marigold yellow swooshes, the silhouette isn’t without its classic gradient as the latter is anchored within the whale tail-inspired mid-foot shank. Complemented by crimson red contrasts along the tongue tab and tread, the upper’s remaining real estate assumes a colorless composition as crisp white hues fill the mudguard, midsole, inner lining and the pair of oval laces.

While we await the pair’s eventual release next spring, the women’s exclusive Air Max Plus “Lemon Wash” can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Jordan 3 “Green Glow” recently surfaced in first-look imagery.
