Returning to select shops on December 1st.

Nicole McLaughlin’s Merrell 1TRL Moc Is Equal Parts Cozy And Rugged

Social media’s favorite DIYer Nicole McLaughlin has recently brought her vision to the Merrell 1TRL Moc Speed Streak Evo.

The former Reebok designer has made a name for herself throughout the last few years via a wacky assortment of “do-it-yourself” projects – including Carhartt beanies made from bread and Crocs Jibbitz that serve as bowls for fries. By comparison, McLaughlin’s collection for Merrell 1TRL – the brand’s segment for trail-ready, special footwear – is tame. Yet, the capsule offers a refreshing take on both Merrell’s catalog and footwear-at-large.

Laceless, each Moc Speed Streak Evo features a number of future-forward overlays across the upper. Branding is kept minimal, with McLaughlin’s initials joining a simple “M” accent on the lateral profile. Perforations along the sides speak to the silhouette’s breathability, while also delivering a visually-pleasing touch. As with other Merrell 1TRL products, the latest design from Nicole McLaughlin’s growing empire sits atop a rugged sole unit that delivers reliable performance whether on the street or trails.

Enjoy detailed shots of the collection ahead, and find the shoes available at select stockists on December 1st. Each Merrell 1TRL Mac Speed Streak Evo By Nicole McLaughlin is priced at $135 USD.
