“Hot Pink” Accents Animate This Kid’s Nike Air Force 1 Low

Pink-colored footwear isn’t new, but this year’s Barbie film created unprecedented hype for rose-accented styles of the Nike Air Force 1, amongst others.

As the season of giving fast approaches, the Swoosh has prepped yet another classic silhouette in a pink arrangement. Exclusive to kids, the latest Air Force 1 Low features a predominantly white finish in line with the sneaker’s most iconic ensemble. Hot pink enters the mix via the profile swooshes, with tongue labels and Achilles’ Heel panels also joining the Barbie-appropriate party. Bruce Kilgore’s famed tooling delivers a darker shade of the sneaker’s titular tone, bringing some different contrast to the “presidential” design.

While simple in color-blocking, the unreleased white and pink Air Force 1 harkens back to the model’s earliest days, which have been repackaged for modern audiences through the “Color of the Month” program. Two-tone styles fell in line with professional basketball guidelines, which inadvertently open the doors for the AF-1’s dominance off-the-court.

A firm nike.com launch hasn’t been confirmed as of this writing, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the kid’s Air Force 1 ahead. The pair is priced at $90 USD.
