Sneaker News South Korean imprint Undermycar’s inaugural ASICS collaboration adds in a familiar name. The dominant specialty sneaker retailer in the Far East, atmos — with outposts in Seoul — lends its hand on this upcoming duo of GEL-Kayano 14 releases.
Already among the more coveted retro running footwear on the market, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 needs little to gain appeal. That said, Undermycar and atmos did a superb job with these designs, opting for a simplistic approach with a sharp nighttime aesthetic infused within the colorway choices. The dark grey/black “Pepper” two-toned features the slightest tinge of brown on the mesh underlay, while the Black/Silver joint makes use of a glossy finish and a molten metal mid-foot plate.
Both pairs are expected to launch at atmos on November 24th, but a wider drop on ASICS.com is firmly scheduled for December 9th, 2024. MSRP is established at $150 a pair.
In other ASICS news, the Naruto ASICS GEL-NYC is set to drop in December.
