The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Dons The Signature Colors Of The Miami Hurricanes

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has celebrated the signature colors of many a different team, from the Seattle Mariners to the San Francisco Giants. The iconic silhouette is even taking a trip to South Florida, trying out for none other than the Miami Hurricanes.

Making its debut in GS sizes, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Miami Hurricanes” is not too dissimilar to the above-mentioned pairs, as it puts together a straightforward homage to the University of Miami. Akin to the school’s jerseys and flag, the upper is dressed in deep greens all throughout its overlays, strap, and laces, with pops of orange applied to the sole unit and the Swoosh along the forefoot. White, then, rounds out the colorway by way of the leather base and midsole.

Enjoy a closer look at the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Miami Hurricanes” via the official images ahead. While a release date has not yet been confirmed, it likely shouldn’t be long before we see these on Nike.com and at select retailers.
