It’s Never Too Early For Christmas: Converse Prepares Chuck 70s For The Holiday

As is customary every year, once Halloween has passed the Holiday season is officially upon us. From Black Friday deals to the City of New York already prepping 34th Street with enlarged wreaths, Converse too is ready to ring in the Christmas spirit with a two-part pack centered around the classic Chuck 70.

Taking on two distinct elements of the holidays, the staple Converse silhouette is cast in either Christmas tree or reindeer inspirations. In one vein, the high-top trim is cast in a clad “Dragon Scale” green hue that stretches pine tree color matches across the ribbon laces. Accompanied by a star tree topper at the heel, each lateral side is joined by a plush gingerbread man wearing a Santa hat and hoisting a bag of gifts. In contrast, the opposing neutral-based offering comes fresh out of the oven as a vibrant “Tawny Owl” tan envelops the canvas upper and laces while reindeer prance along each heel.

“Red Oak” hues then bring a rustic through-line across both pairs, treating the tongue construction, the rubber lip of the canvas midsole and the heel’s license plate bumper. Further consistencies appear within the clad cream sole unit, the bright red outsoles and the repeating faint yellow stitching that accents each of the textile’s upper sidewalls.

Enjoy an official look at the Converse Chuck 70 “Christmas” collection below as we await further release details.

In other news, the JJJJound x adidas Samba has been confirmed for a release in November.
