Nike’s Air Max 1 Spring 2024 Lineup Has Something For Everyone

Nike, Inc.’s 60th anniversary next year is set to be huge, including several new Nike Air Max 1 styles, amongst dozens of other offerings.

The brand’s first-ever SNKRS Showcase unveiled 40 different pairs spanning select pockets of history. Many of the styles – which include the Air Max SNDR – are slated to launch throughout Fall 2024, but the Oregon-based company will treat fans to plenty of compelling product before then. Throughout spring, the Swoosh will celebrate Air in full-force. In addition to bringing the “Big Bubble” treatment to the Air 180, Nike will offer the original Air Max sneaker in (at least) a handful of new ensembles.

Firm nike.com launch details haven’t been disclosed by the brand as of this writing, but that’s likely to change in the first two months of 2024. Continue for an early look at some of the Spring 2024 lineup (via JD Sports), and expect pairs to retail for $140 USD.

Nike Air Max 1 “Navy/Pink”

Most-reminiscent of Tinker Hatfield’s original designs, this navy-and-pink take on the first Air Max is sure to appeal to a unisex audience. Branding hits throughout the shoe and the iconic visible Air bubble keep things fresh, livening up the otherwise understated outfit.

Nike Air Max 1 “Tan/White”

This Air Max 1 would be more fitting of autumn, no? In any case, shades of brown look right at home on the Swoosh’s revolutionary design. An interesting detail on this pair is the modified branding on the spine: “Nike” text is left out, allowing swoosh and “Air” hits to revel in the spotlight.

Nike Air Max 1 “Cacao Wow”

Other Nike Sportswear offerings have dressed up in “Cacao Wow,” but soon enough it’ll be the Air Max 1’s turn. Tumbled leather takes over the model’s signature mudguards, with other components also trading nubuck for traditional leather finishes. The #menswear crowd is sure to enjoy this style.

Nike Air Max 1 “Multi-color”

What would a spring lineup be without a “Multi-color” option? Pastel tones are nothing new to Hatfield’s creation from 1987, but the newly-surfaced take also features cracked leather throughout the upper. Rope laces, speckled midsoles, and multi-colored traction also form part of the lively pair.

Nike Air Max 1 “Olive/Black”

If bright colors aren’t your speed, Nike’s got you covered. The Air Max 1 debuted as a performance-running model, donning vibrant “University Red” to stand out, but this “Olive/Black” ensemble shows its versatility. Tumbled leather makes up the sneaker’s mudguard, matching the Air bubble underfoot with its pitch-dark look. The waffle-patterned outsole joins Nike’s “Move to Zero” initiative as it’s made up of at least 20% recycled material. A win for you, a win for the environment.
