British retail powerhouse size? is ready to launch its New Balance 1906R “Diamond District” Pack.
The overseas institution first unveiled the project during the summer at a special preview in London’s Covent Garden district. For its second NB 1906R duo, size? drew inspiration from New York City’s pawn shops, which often offer vintage watches at compelling prices. Arguably no area in the world is quite as renowned for luxury jewelry collecting as the city’s Diamond District, which spans 47th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue in Manhattan.
Marketing material for size?’s latest New Balance collaboration present both pairs alongside attractive timepieces. A heavily-green style is coupled with an undisclosed model of Vacheron Constantin’s Traditionnelle. Akin to the watch, the NB 1906R features high-quality materials throughout its build, opting for a rich money-reminiscent green. Gold accents across the upper and NB 860v2’s sole unit reference the Traditionnelle’s metallic face. By contrast, the second size? x New Balance style in the “Diamond District” pack keeps things sportier in shades of grey. Suede and mesh construction fall in line with retro running models from the brand, but a closer look at campaign photography reveals the pair’s (possible) inspiration: the Rolex Daytona. NLock components on the profiles introduce blue and red contrast to the shoe, perhaps a reference to the coveted “Pepsi,” a two-tone version of the Rolex GMT Master II.
Enjoy detailed shots of the pairs ahead, and find them exclusively via size? Launches on November 4th. The “Diamond District” Pack is priced at £150 per pair (approx. $183 USD as of this writing).
