University Blue Swooshes Brighten Up This Upcoming Nike Air Flight ’89

It’s clear that Nike has big plans for the Air Flight ’89, as the silhouette is very quickly approaching its 35th anniversary. And alongside collaborations with the likes of Stussy, the Swoosh will be celebrating the occasion with many an inline style.

This newly-revealed colorway is among the silhouette’s upcoming offerings, lensing the Air Flight ’89 through a relatively understated lens. But beyond its predominantly blacked-out design, the pair proffers several instances of what appears to be “University Blue.” The cool tone highlights details such as the Swoosh as well as the embroidered branding along the toe and tongue, while light greys dress the adjacent piping, trims, and hardware.

Rounded out with a neutral white midsole, this Nike Air Flight ’89 should be available at Nike.com and select retailers relatively soon. Enjoy a look at the official images ahead as we await the shoe’s release.

In other news, the Naruto Crocs is hitting in 2024.
