Di’orr Greenwood Celebrates The Navajo Arts With Her Nike SB Dunk High Collaboration

Di’orr Greenwood’s love of skateboarding goes well beyond the sport itself. It’s since become a vehicle for her personal expression, as every one of her custom decks act as a physical homage to her Navajo roots. And now, thanks to Nike SB, Greenwood is able to bring her art to an entirely new medium: namely, the Dunk High.

With her first-ever pair of Dunk Highs, Di’orr Greenwood effectively channels and builds upon her existing body of work. The Peter Moore-designed silhouette draws upon the artist’s signature skateboards, with Navajo-inspired details and patterns applied along the tongue and heel. Elsewhere, the construction — which primarily consists of suede and leather — alternates between shades of brown, blue, and black, complementing the neighboring accents as well as the insoles’ display of the Navajo reservation.

Enjoy a closer look at the Di’orr Greenwood x Nike SB Dunk High right here. At the time of writing this, no release date has been confirmed; for now, sit tight and stay tuned for further updates.

In other news, another Air Jordan 1 GORE-TEX was recently unveiled.
