The Jordan MVP 678 Channels The 2010 “Varsity Red” 6s

The biggest catfish on the sneaker market has appeared in one of the most attractive Air Jordan colorways of all-time.

The Jordan MVP 678 is a blend of three key Air Jordan models worn by the undisputed GOAT during his first three-peat run. The Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 7, and Air Jordan 8 — all designed by the inimitable Tinker Hatfield — were on Jordans feet during that timeless trio of seasons, a span that has culminated into on shoe. While intended to be an equally distributed blend of the three silhouettes, it’s easy to see that the Air Jordan 6 is the true core of the design — which has led many to be catfished by this polarizing model.

Already revealed in over a dozen colorways for men, women, and kids, the Jordan MVP 678 now appeares in a classic black/varsity red/white mix that conjures up memores of 2010’s Air Jordan 6 “Varsity Red”. That release itself was one of the more head-scratching moves by Jordan Brand considering just how close it was to the original “Infrared” hue and the fact that it released a few months later (albeit as part of a pack).

Regardless, MVP 678 fans will get a rush out of these, especially considering the mudguard reminds us of the recently released Jordan 8 Playoffs. Find these on nike.com soon for $165.
