Reimagined, Method Of Make, Element — you name it, Jordan Brand has done it to the Air Jordan 1. The simplicity lends easily to versatility, leading to a variety of stylistic iterations that have broadened the reach of the ’85 original to GOAT status.

Next up for the Air Jordan 1 is this unique execution of the Mid. First, it features the slightly padded tongue, giving a skate-ready fit similar to that of SB Dunks. A bevy of pleasant materials on the upper such as suede and leather craft the entire upper, allowing for some Fall/Winter sensibility. Finally, the heel counter is covered in a gorgeous weave pattern, accurately textured to perhaps nod to the origins of the game of basketball.

Given the elevated nature of the design, this Air Jordan 1 Mid will likely retail for $135. Expect a release in late 2023 or early 2024.
