“Dark Stucco” Preps The Nike Dunk Mid For Fall

Nike’s Dunk Mid is unquestionably the “ugly duckling” of Peter Moore’s classic basketball sneaker from 1985. Recent memory, however, has seen the silhouette emerge in compelling styles, surely turning some naysayers into believers.

As temperatures continues to dip across the globe, the mid-top Nike Dunk has appeared in a muted “Dark Stucco/Neutral Olive/Light Bone” color scheme. The sneaker falls in line with plenty of other styles produced by Nike, Inc. for autumn, nodding to the military garb-inspired outfits that’ve brought much fanfare to the brand. Darker-colored panels land around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel, allowing for underlays in-between to indulge in a lighter olive hue. Profile swooshes and other branding hits throughout the upper deviate in a “colorless” finish that also lands on the midsole underfoot. A semi-translucent “Dark Stucco” arrangement takes over the Air Jordan 1-like outsole, rounding out the understated offering in style.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch before 2023 ends. The Dunk Mid is priced at $115 USD.

In related sneaker news, the Cherry 12s are set to release for the whole family on October 28th.
