Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 Is Available Now

Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 Is Available Now

The adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 is now available via adidas.com.

Entering his seventh year in the NBA, Donovan Mitchell is already considered a well-seasoned vet in the signature sneaker ecosystem. Joining Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard and James Harden as the only active 3-Stripes athletes that boast a signature roster greater than five models, Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 has officially been revealed ahead of the silhouette’s debut on October 15th.

The 3-Stripes and Mitchell got ahead of the sneaker insiders this past summer when the four-time All-Star debuted the 5th iteration in his signature line at the MLB All-Star Game, albeit via a cleated version of the debut “Blue Sapphire” colorway. Composed of a plastic TPU upper and mesh pockets, the D.O.N. Issue #5 adheres to the same bootie-like construction that appeared within the Harden Vol. 7 and the upcoming adidas AE1. Rope laces and mid-foot lockdown cables help keep the wearer secured atop the sculpted footbed infused with Lightstrike cushioning technology.

The adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 releases in the “Blue Sapphire” on October 24th for a retail price of $120, followed by the “Throwback Don” on November 15th and the “Black Widow” colorway will on December 1st. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at the upcoming range of color blockings ahead – “Solar Yellow”, “Solar Red” and “White/Gum”.

For more on-court toolings, the LeBron 21 “Black/Particle Grey” recently surfaced in official imagery.
