Iconized alongside Marlon Wayans in Above the Rim and via the feet of Penny Hardaway in Blue Chips, the Reebok Pump Vertical returns at the end of October in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Returning in the same sleek “Black/White” colorway that Bugaloo wore throughout the 1994 film, Reebok’s “Above The Rim” capsule collection reminisces on the brand’s undeniable impact within the golden era of basketball culture. Initially released in 1993, the ATR collection returns for its 30th anniversary with the Pump Vertical leading the way. Coated in jet-black synthetic nubuck overlays, crisp white hits illuminate the effort from within the mid-foot in tandem with the silhouette’s classic ATR embroidered branding ascertaining the heel and the tongue’s vintage Pump technology.
Reebok’s “Above The Rim” capsule is scheduled to release on October 27th with the Pump Vertical retailing for $160. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery ahead.
