The Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v6 Releases On October 20th

Following over a year since their last collaborative effort, Carhartt WIP and New Balance are now reprising their partnership by way of the 990v6.

Harkening back to their roots, Carhartt WIP has applied a utilitarian touch to the New Balance 990v6. The design, although simple, appears to draw direct inspiration from the brand’s signature workwear, conjuring to mind images of duck canvas double knees and work jackets. And while the materials themselves are far from the same — employing the usual pigskin suede, mesh, and synthetic — the colorway is more than enough to establish a sense of familiarity, consisting of “Hamilton Brown” as well as subtle hits of “Military Green.”

Complete with co-branding along the tongue and sockliner, the Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v6 is confirmed to be releasing on October 20th at NewBalance.com, Carhartt-WIP.com, and select retailers.

Speaking of New Balance, in-hand images of the upcoming New Balance 990v4 Olive Incense just surfaced.
