Official Images: Air Jordan 38 “Year Of The Dragon” (Spring 2024)

Updated December 18th, 2023: Official images have been updated.

During the last few days of September, images of several upcoming Jordans suddenly boiled to the surface. Alongside the likes of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” and Air Jordan 3 “White/Navy,” we caught a detailed glimpse at the Jumpman’s preparations for Lunar New Year. And this doesn’t just include an Air Jordan 1 Low OG, as leaks have revealed that an Air Jordan 38 will also be helping celebrate the Year of the Dragon.

Although dressed in a very similar palette, the Air Jordan 38 “Year of the Dragon” is largely distinct from its low-top counterpart. Here, “Cedar” and “Dark Team Red” are the most present, alternating throughout the upper’s nubuck paneling and latticed weave. “Oil Green” — a close substitute for jade — is then applied to the midsole and laces, complementing the auspicious feel of the aforementioned reds and the subtle hits of metallic gold. What’s more, the logo atop the insole has been replaced with befitting the Lunar New Year.

Enjoy a close-up look at the Air Jordan 38 “Year of the Dragon” via the leaked imagery ahead. According to Sole Retriever, these are expected to release on January 24th, 2024.

In other news, La Flame is teeing up the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Golf for this Friday.
