Widely regarded as the best shooter to have ever picked up a basketball, Stephen Curry is consistently pushing his evolution on the hardwood. After signing a long-term extension with Under Armour this past March, the four-time NBA Champion and the Baltimore-based brand have officially unveiled the fourth signature silhouette to release under the Curry Brand banner – the UA Curry 11.
Drawing inspiration from a modernized distant future, the “Future Curry” colorway envisions the lasting effect of Stephen Curry’s shooting prowess across the game of basketball as younger generations look to launch 3-pointers more and more frequently, at even greater distances. Mirroring his past silhouette’s low-top trim, the 11th iteration of Curry’s signature line adapts the upper insole of the Curry 10 to introduce the brand’s proprietary Warp technology. The silhouette also acts as a first within his signature catalog, debuting the banner’s dual-density UA Flow cushioning system underfoot.
“Eleven shoes? Not many people have been able to have that experience. Curry 11 marks the start of our next chapter, where we’re taking a daring and disruptive approach on the court, paying tribute to some of my favorite moments over the course of my career, while also collaborating with talented partners who share the same fire in creating a powerful identity for the future of Curry Brand,“ Stephen Curry said via press release.
The UA Curry 11 “Future Curry” is scheduled to release on Friday, October 13th, in adult ($160) and grade school ($100) sizing. Over the course of his 15th season in the League, the UA Curry 11 will invoke a number of personally crafted colorways that pay homage to the likes of Brandon Jenning’s Tuff Crowd brand and Bruce Lee’s many mantras. While we await further release details, the pair can be seen below in detailed imagery alongside our accompanying store list.
