The MIU MIU x New Balance 530 Grounds The Label’s Spring/Summer 2024 Collection

The MIU MIU x New Balance 530 Grounds The Label’s Spring/Summer 2024 Collection

While Prada has gone the way of the Three Stripes, MIU MIU — the luxury house’s more playful sister — has opted to join forces with New Balance. And after remixing the 574 not once but twice, the diffusion label is now bringing their attention to a relatively overlooked silhouette: the 530.

Unlike that of their 574s, the design of MIU MIU’s New Balance 530 plays with much more than material and color. Whereas the original model is built atop a standard ABZORB sole unit, the collaboration features a much lower profile bottom that’s somewhat reminiscent of the footwear brand’s Minimus line. Above, the upper comes in either tan or brown suede, the latter of which is treated to lightly distressed finish. Each pair is then rounded out with “MIU MIU” branding and styled with both leather and cotton laces.

Enjoy a first look at the MIU MIU x New Balance 530 right here. As they walked down the runway of the label’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, it’s likely we won’t be see these on the shelves for a few months.

In other news, four new colorways of the New Balance 2002R Protection Pack are available right now.
