Nike Adorns The Air Force 1 With A Series Of Silver Metallic Accents

Nike Adorns The Air Force 1 With A Series Of Silver Metallic Accents

Although certainly no stranger to accessorizing their classics, never has Nike adorned a sneaker in such a way as this newly-revealed Air Force 1.

Previously, Nike’s accessories took the form of custom dubraes and hangtags. But here, the brand has gone to greater lengths, covering the Air Force 1 with a series of silver metallic accents. And in terms of design, these don’t abide by the standards of typical jewelry, opting for indeterminate shapes that are visually akin to molten metal. Aside from this detailing — which can found across not only the lateral Swooshes but also the vamp and eyestays — the pair is aesthetically understated, proffering a Triple White base with gilded branding atop the tongue and heel tabs.

Enjoy a closer look at this upcoming Air Force 1 via the official images added ahead. At the time of writing this, no firm release date has been confirmed; it’s likely, though, that we’ll be seeing these at select retailers and on Nike.com within the next few months.

In other news, official retailer images of the Nike Air Foamposite One Anthracite surfaced last week.
