Sneakersnstuff Teams Up With Vault By Vans On The Chunky Knu Skool

The Vans Knu Skool debuted in 1998 as an answer to the time’s growing trend of chunky and puffy designs within the world of skate shoes. Revived in 2015 by Vans Japan, the silhouette hasn’t enjoyed the same fanfare it once did since its heyday, but Sneakersnstuff (SNS) is looking to change that.

No stranger to the Vault by Vans family, SNS’ latest take on the California institution’s catalog sees a muted color scheme placed on the bold Knu Skool. As was the case in the 1990s, the sneaker features a series of oversized components across the upper. The European retailer utilizes premium hairy suede material throughout the top-half, covering the upper in a dark brown. Profile sidestripes opt for a contrasting blue, while vulcanized midsoles revert to a gum brown finish.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, shot by Chris Shonting. The SNS x Vans Knu Skool arrives exclusively to the SNS app on November 4th. Sign-ups for the $110 USD shoe are now open.
