Padded, Elongated Tongues Are Also Appearing On The Nike Air Max 1

Nike is beginning to lay the groundwork for yet another kids-exclusive collection, one that sees its icons clad in padded, elongated tongues.

The Nike Air Max 1 is the newest addition to the pack, boasting a tongue just as tall and as cushioned as that of its Dunk Low-shaped counterpart. Its color, however, is quite a bit more neutral, so as to better amplify the deep green finish of the embroidered Swoosh and the rope laces. Save for the matching outsole and the neon Air Unit, the construction elsewhere is also quite understated, mainly alternating between shades of white, light grey, and cream.

Enjoy a closer look at the Nike Air Max 1 “Big Tongue” (GS) right here. While a release date has yet to be confirmed, it’s likely we’ll be seeing these at Nike.com and select retailers within the next few months.

In other news, official images of the J Balvin Air Jordan 3 recently surfaced.
