A grayscale finish lands on the base, with mudguards, profile swooshes, and other branding hits deviating in the titular “Dark Obsidian” and “University Red” duo. Underfoot, the “Big Bubble”-assisted sole unit favors a “colorless” ensemble that captures the Air Max component. Waffle-patterned outsole bring the upper’s combination of tones underneath.
