Despite celebrating its 35th anniversary last year, the Nike Air Max 1 continues to appear in compelling new styles.
Recently, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design emerged in a kid’s-exclusive yellow, navy, and white color scheme. The pair takes on a similar color-blocking as the original Air Max from 1987, but mudguards. profile swooshes, and other components take on different hues. Sidewall branding opts for a sun-reminiscent tone, while protective panels wrapped around the sneaker indulge in a dark blue color. Mesh bases and suede panels atop favor clean finishes that allow for the aforementioned components to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, tried-and-proven sole units deliver a two-tone arrangement that harkens back to the first Air Max 1‘s debut style.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 1 “Palomino” is set to launch on Saturday, September 2nd.
